Family History and Other Stuff
Some old photos of my family and a bit of information on some particular ancesters.
Dad's Album contains photographs from my Dad's old photograph album which covers his teen age years up to just after the Second World War when he emigrated to Southern Africa.
Family photos shows pictures of Mum and Dad, me in my youth and early adulthood, and our family pets.
Henry Gunson was my great grandfather on my father's side. My cousin, Eileen, who has done a lot of research on my Dad's side of the family, provided the information for this page.
My wife's mother's family have a number of ancestors who were 1820 Settlors in South Africa including the King family. Dick King sailed to South Africa with his parents on the [ship name] later found fame as the Saviour of Natal and this page gives further information about this modest hero.
